Puma + Call of Duty Collab Project

Activision approached me to create product designs for a collaboration between Puma and the Call of Duty video game franchise. Their creative direction leaned toward a high-end fashion aesthetic—elevating sports apparel and accessories with premium materials and refined detailing. With a clear vision, a strong theme, and a great team at Activision, this project was an absolute blast to bring to life.

Modern Warfare Mockups.

The goal for this project was to create a collection of mockups featuring shoes, apparel, and bags—all with a high-end look. Our focus was on materials and detailing, while integrating the supplied Modern Warfare patterns. The challenge was to strike the right balance between elevated fashion and the sporty, streetwise DNA of Puma.

The presentation began with a chenille patch mockup of the Modern Warfare II logo, setting the tone with subtle franchise detailing in the background that teased what was to come. First up in the product line: the iconic Puma Suede Classic, reimagined with a patterned black suede upper, custom detailing on the sole, and a woven label on the tongue.

Next came the combat boots, featuring bold hardware like metal skull aglets and branded buckles, leather patchwork on the tongue, and a Modern Warfare-patterned Formstrip. For apparel, tees, hoodies, and a standout puffer jacket incorporated in-game graphics with premium embellishments and detailing.

One of my favorite designs was the bucket hat. Its quilted texture, paired with a lime green topographical map pattern, really popped and represented the desired vibe. Finished with metal Puma and MWII logos, it was a clean mix of tactical edge and streetwear vibe.

The final products in the collection were the bags. For the duffle, I created a custom pattern inspired by Gucci and Michael Kors, giving it a luxury feel with a game-inspired twist. The sling bags featured subtle in-game icons, bold patterns, and sleek metal branding to tie everything together.

From ideation to execution, this was one of those projects that made opening Photoshop every day genuinely exciting. Every piece was a mini design puzzle—and the end result was a perfect blend of gaming culture, fashion, and Photoshop fun.

Once the project was completed, I got approval to share my artwork in a self promo piece. To showcase the work, I created an Instagram carousel post with images that seamlessly connect as you swipe through. You can check out the full poster design here, or view it directly on my Instagram profile.
